Over the years Iv'e had the pleasure and pain of working on various projects of all shapes and sizes from classic cars to stock cars to fishing boats, over the years images have been lost but not the memories, so rather than keep future memories locked in the vast vault in my head they are going on here, hope you enjoy

VW Beetle Boxter, Belated Happy New Year

We hope you all had an excellent Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Work continues on the Beetle Boxter with the replacement seat mounts, unfortunately the original pressed  items due them being ballsed up by the last crew so here we have replacements.

Work at the rear finally sees the wings fitting better and the rear valance altered to flow with the wings.

A bit of a cut.

A bit of a infill.

Mark brought across a used set of wings due to the after market wings being strained and stretched making it hard to get the correct lines, these fit bang on.

Cleaned up the lines of the boot catch and made the mounts flush fit.

Sorted the gap around the boot lid as the upper panel had shrunk loads  when the Louvre's were filled in resulting in a poor fit.

Reworked the sharp edges and fully welded them around the rear grill, the seam was starting the split after the boot lid had been dropped shut a few times, edges now have a nice radius and will look better than a sharp edge when painted.
